Talks and workshops
During our journey we hope to visit dozens of schools, Scout and Guide groups etc to talk about ShelterBox and our ride.
We’ve already done everything from assemblies for a whole school to lessons with individual classes. The video below is from a workshop with a Scout troop in Montana:

TEFL lesson plan
Before setting off on this journey, we worked as EFL teachers in Portugal and produced a ShelterBox lesson plan anyone is welcome to use.
To see the plan, click here. The linked pages also include a range of supporting material – pictures, video links and one-off reading lessons.
Teachers and Scout leaders might also want to visit the Young ShelterBox website, which provides a range of material designed for different Key Stage Levels (UK schools) and information on activities developed with The Scout Association.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any comments, questions – or suggestions for other material.
