Thank you

We couldn’t be doing this without the help of:

ALTURA

We are delighted to have the support of Altura – the UK’s leading cycle clothing and luggage brand – who are providing us with clothing and panniers for the journey.

GREAT BRITONS

Our challenge was also voted the winner in the seventh round the British Airways Great Britons programme – as a result, British Airways will be flying us and our tandem to Sydney so we can complete the Australia/New Zealand leg of our journey.

ROTARY

We’ve also had huge support from many Rotary Clubs along our route. We can’t thank everyone but certain people really deserve thanks for going the extra mile to help organise our visit/talks and our lodging and high calorie intake – in particular:

Canada: Jen Kormendy (Tsawassen), Denise & Jerry Fiddick (Ashcroft/Cache Creek), Alan Pineo (Chase), Rob Marshall (Salmon Arm).

WARM SHOWERS

The Warm Showers Community is a free worldwide hospitality exchange for touring cyclists. People who are willing to host touring cyclists sign up to the warmshowers website, provide their contact information, and occasionally have someone stay with them and share great stories and a drink.

We’ve stayed with a number of wonderful Warm Showers hosts along our route and want to say a big thank you to:

Canada: Kerri-Jo (Maple Ridge), Larry & Sherri (Harrison Hot Springs), Lenard, Deanna & Sam (Kamloops), Val (Edgewater), Dave & Donna (Columbia Lake).

United States: Richard (Rexford), Sam & Jo (East Glacier Park), Shawn & Orion (Bozeman), John & Katie (Fort Worth), Carolyn (Shreveport), Patrick (Fanning Springs), Delinda (Citrus Springs), Paula (Trinity).
