What & Why?

We’re riding 10,000 miles on our tandem – across North America, New Zealand, Australia and Europe – in aid of the disaster relief charity ShelterBox.

Our route links some of the many ShelterBox teams around the world – and helps mark the tenth anniversary of the charity’s founding in 2000. On a trailer behind our tandem is one of the charity’s iconic green boxes – normally used to deliver emergency aid to disaster victims all over the world.

To help raise awareness of the amazing work that ShelterBox does, we’re giving talks to Rotary Clubs, schools, scout groups etc – as well as media interviews – in towns and cities all along our route.

Take a look at the interview below – shot while we were cycling across Texas in November 2010 – to hear more about what we’re doing and why:

Our inspiration for this journey. Our mission and the target we’ve set ourselves. And, how your help can make it possible.
