Two weeks to go!

After months of planning, our journey is almost upon us. We fly to Vancouver on Wednesday 4th August and start our ride on Sunday 8th – two weeks today.

We’re working with a team of local Rotarians and ShelterBox Response Team members to set up a display about ShelterBox in downtown Vancouver, outside the city Art Gallery.

Then at 3pm we plan to hitch our box to the back of the tandem and ride east on the start of our 10,000-mile odyssey. The first leg of our trip will end when we reach Tampa, Florida, on Saturday 18th December. After that, comes New Zealand, Australia and Europe in 2011.

Any local riders who’d like to join us for the first day of the ride and help escort us out of Vancouver would be very welcome!
